Shelter is a moving story of self-discovery. Zach (Trevor Wright) is a young man in his early twenties who is the anchor for his troubled family. His mother has died. His father is too ill to work. His sister is too busy partying to take care of her five year-old son Cody (Jackson Wurth). Therefore, it falls upon Zach to keep the family together and become a de facto parent. Abandoning his own personal dreams to do so, Zach's one escape is the beach and his passion for surfing.

Through his surfing buddy Gabe (Ross Thomas), Zack is introduced to Gabe's brother - Shaun, a struggling gay writer. Shaun (Brad Rowe) also has issues taking a break from Hollywood and regrouping after the end of a dysfunctional relationship. In one day of surfing, Zack and Shaun discover they have a strong mutual attraction. Flirtation leads to a love affair. A love affair leads to more issues...

Shelter is coming to theaters March 2008, followed by an exclusive run on here! Networks April 2008.
